I learned yesterday that a former colleague and all-around great guy passed away recently. He was a kind soul with a great sense of humor, a wife, and a toddler. I can’t imagine what his family is going through right now.
Learning of his passing once again brought home to me the hard truth about this life: it is the only one we get, it can end in an instant, and we are not promised tomorrow.
What are we waiting for? Why do we wait to live until it’s time to die? Why do we waste the one thing we can never get back?
